June 21 Worship & Gathering Update

Good Morning VKHBC family!
GATHERING UPDATE:
Please see the letter from the VKHBC leadership (click here) regarding our plans to begin gathering again June 28th. There is also a document with the guidelines (click here) to be read by you and one more document to be filled out by you (click here) and then provided to the ushers upon attending one of our worship services. 
If you have any questions, concerns, or gratitude please address your thoughts to the entire board.
OTHER ANNOUNCEMENTS  
  • Join us Sunday night on Zoom @ 6:00PM (click here) for a time of online fellowship and prayer.
  • If anyone would like a copy of TableTalk or the daily bread please let me (Scott) know and I will bring you a copy
  • Tithes & OfferingsTo contribute financially to our church’s ministry you can do so online at our website (click here) or you may send a cheque, in your church offering envelope, enclosed in a regular envelope to the Shuh’s home address. 

HOME WORSHIP

In addition to previous instructions provided on our website (here):

1. Read Scripture & Pray – Psalm 119:89-96
2. Sing  –  “Lift High the Name of Jesus”
3. Read more Scripture together – Romans 14:1-12 (or Romans 14:1-15:7)
4. Pray together
5. Sing – “How Firm a Foundation”
6. Listen to the sermon together @ 11am on our YouTube channel “Vankleek Hill Baptist Church.” 
Sermon questions for kids:  

1. What is the word “truly” (v.18) a translation of in the Hebrew and Greek? (Hint: we still use this word today in English, French, and other languages)
2. What are the three distinctions or categories we use to help us understand the intended application of the Old Testament laws?
3. Which 'categories' of the Law did Jesus come to fulfill?

7. Sing a closing song – “A Mighty Fortress is Our God”
